We have combined wards to create a single YM program. Thus, the following report would greatly simplify our tracking and coordination:
Report – Contact info of parents, scouts, and leaders.
Shared Calendar w/ iCal support
Thanks for your help,
Luke

The features that I would like to see the most are:
An Integrated Calendar that can be sent to scouts and parents with the reports.
Report-Contact info of parents, scouts and leaders. Would be nice to generate a call list for the Patrol Leaders Council.
Modify the Individual reports to show what requirements are NOT completed.
Export data to BSA’s Online Advancement System.

I have been told that our council will require electronic record submission for advancment. I have also been told that Only ScoutNET certified software can submit files through the council’s Internet Recharter and Internet Advancement systems. Does E Trail to Eagle support this format?

Can there be a simple portion of the site that can be used to store pictures and a calendar similar to a blog so that leaders and parents can also see activities that have been completed and some fun stuff like that? If parents get the reports but could also see what is being done, that would be awesome

Calendar is HUGE – - the more we can get boys and parents to the site, the more they are informed to what is going on and what needs to be done.
Integration with Online advancement would make things easier – one step, not two.

Thanks!

The Duty to God program allows for local units to “adapt” by adding their own requirements. It would be nice to be able to add requirements to each of the categories, creating a potentially customized list for individual units.

For Duty to God Tracking, it would be nice if leaders could be limited to only having the ability to change records in their assigned Quorum.
February 9, 2009 at 9:46 am |
For Duty of God Tracking “Breakout requirements that have multiple items each year” would be very helpful to track or the ability to add additional achievements when there have been multible achievments in one category.

When you make a subscription you have to type in the email(s) desired. If you have already put in your leaders and parents info. including emails, why can’t you just select from a list the leaders or parents to whom you would like the subscribed report be sent?
February 10, 2009 at 5:12 pm |
Add the ability to run report and have it open on the screen in your browser. From that screen you could save, send, or print.

We really need a good LDS Cub Scout Site, with Faith in God requirements. I can’t wait to use it!
